Leonard "Lenny" Olson tragically passed away July 22nd, and is survived by his son Austin Leonard Olson, whom he referred to as "the boy". Austin has been the light of Lenny's life, his best buddy, and what he was most proud of. Father and son shared the same infectious smile. As a young kid Austin played baseball as his father coached, and also participated in gymnastics. Going out for pizza and to the movies was a favorite of their weekend get-togethers. Also, going school and clothes shopping, playing video games, a trip to the Dells, and teaching the boy how to drive, are just a few of the ways Lenny loved to spend time with his boy. Austin is going into his senior year of high school and planning for his future. He will soon be looking into colleges to study planetary science, an interest his father had as well, and saw their first trip to the Adler Planetarium. Austin was captivated by the knowledge around him and couldn't have asked enough questions. As Austin takes steps to prepare for his next adventure without his best buddy at his side, we ask for your support in helping him achieve his dreams. Donations will be collected until October 3rd.
